No. Wildlife is surprisingly adaptable. Many memorable discoveries happen in school gardens, hedgerows, small wooded areas, and even around playgrounds.

Wildlife is unpredictable, which is part of the excitement. We carefully choose locations to maximize the chances of success, and every investigation still provides valuable opportunities for observation, discussion, and learning.
We’ll come prepared with images captured from other nearby areas so we can still discuss local wildlife, as well as confronting possible reasons why we didn’t capture anything this time.
